a bit of photography fundamentals (about ISO)...
http://www.photoxels.com/tutorial_iso.html
http://digital-photography-school.com/blog/iso-settings/
http://www.megapixel.net/html/articles/article-highiso.php
most important conclusion:
"ISO speed affects the shutter speed..."
... and shutter speed affects ISO. that's why you have high ISO on fast shutter speed - it's obvious. shutter speed 1/5000s and ISO100? yes, this is possible but ONLY in excellent light conditions!
ok, so how ISO control in other driver works? very simple: look at above conclusion
ofcourse we should say sincerely: nobody is interested in ISO bigger than 100 - that's why ISO control is not present in my driver. if you want ISO100 use high shutter speed values or use EM/ENM which will calculate shutter speed. there is no "magic" shutter speed value when ISO100 turns on - everything depends on the light amount
shouhei
you mean different contrast and saturation values for normal and fine mode?
setkos
in gallery only 2 older pictures were processed in Noiseware. now i have EM/ENM/manual shutter and i don't need this software anymore

even if noise on picture is visible, i will not process it
quality was "fine" but in my 6.x drivers difference between "normal" and "fine" quality is almost none. "normal" quality is just "safety valve" if "fine" quality will crash the camera

@Raiderski
Congratulations on the best driver up to date! I've been watching the topic ever since it was started, and I must say your driver is the most awesome thing released. I never bothered to mod my own drivers, just tested a lot of them. But now I can rearrange and modify things super easy thanks to you and I doubt I'll ever put another driver!
P.S. Just wondering, if I want to get a very dark picture with low noise, can I use a fast shutter speed and ISO100 together or the low ISO always comes with slower shutter? Maybe I should use exposure lock?

are you sure about ENM on some pictures? you have definitely too much noise - ENM will never do that
smuko
thx
P.S. Just wondering, if I want to get a very dark picture with low noise, can I use a fast shutter speed and ISO100 together or the low ISO always comes with slower shutter? Maybe I should use exposure lock?
you can take low noise picture in very dark situation and as you wrote:
"low ISO always comes with slow shutter". AE lock in this situation is useless. question is what shutter speed should be used to get low ISO? this depends of light amount. EM/ENM can calculate this if you are not sure
small comparision in total darkness, a bit shaked photos but this is not important right now:
basic settings = nightmode + led + focus infinity
1. basic settings + forced (by manual control) ISO100
http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/2385/28167449la8.jpg
ISO = 100
shutter speed = 1/5s
1/5s is calculated by phone. picture is very underexposed!
2. basic settings + ENM
http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/1126/17394553os4.jpg
ISO = 100
shutter speed = 2s
exposure is almost correct (a bit too bright)
picture is identical with: basic settings + manual shutter speed 3.0 photo
3. basic settings + manual shutter speed 2.9
http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/4620/61026157ex2.jpg
ISO = 100
shutter speed = 1.33(3)s
ideal exposure, much more real colors
winner!
BTW. i've to remove this old pity thing from walls and put nice tiles

Wont it be better to set saturation to 00 like raider did? look at the sky in raiders and A4A pics.
