Good to hear znkr, I think that's because C905a supports more frequencies than anything else.

Hi guys,

Been reading this with interest but was concerned with the earpiece issues.

Do you guys still recommend it? my c902 has died after being submerged in water! so was thinking about buying this model.

If I got a c905 from Hong Kong to New Zealand, then surely you can get a C905a from south america to the USA

we have both the c905 and c905a here in Australia. The c905a is being sold by Telstra.

should have just made one version for worldwide. The c905a is exactly what that is.

Anyone know if it is possible to do a US firmware update to enable the triband UMTS/HSDPA on a C905?

A friend of mine has bought the 09W3 IceSilver version, appearently the built quality has become better than the ones which were made in 2008.

The keypad is much better than my previous C905, and each key would click properly as they should. Additionally the slider is uber-smooth and seems not to have any contacts with the keypad, therefore no scratches have appeared (the scratches on my CooperGold version startet to appear 5minutes after i bought my phone).

This sounds promising, ...still i'm worried something might go wrong, otherwise i'm still all for C905's outstanding camera performance and cool features.

Has anyone still struggling Earpiece failure, keypas scratches on their C905s (2009 models)?
