yep, I tried it - it caused a BROD after few days of working
BTW. a BROD is when somehow suddenly your K850 begins to think that it was designed to be a flashlight - you can't turn it on, you can't reflash via SEUS - you may only sit down and look at the beautiful blue light in the shape of a ring until your battery gets discharged...

I had this problem. Very VERY irritating. Sent my phone away today and should get a replacement soon.(I hope)
After explaining the problem to the guy on the phone he suggested i "backup all my data from the phone before sending it"!!
How is this is possible if the phone doesnt turn on and no programs recognise it you moron!!!!

I hope not as I've just sent my phone off to be replaced. I won't be happy if the replacement they send me has this new firmware on cause I'll be even less happy if my phone dies again!!

not exactly
R1EC001 was released 4 weeks after R1EA031 only for Orange branded phones - this FW behaves identically to 031 (has same bugs, BROD, etc.) so IMHO it's just R1EA031 with Orange menu
