I've had my orange P990 for about a week now and not impressed like a lot of people but just gonna hope they bring out an update to make everything better!
Anyway, one feature which i loved on my P900 and P910i was, if i was web browsing in Opera, I could set it not to display images (reducing browsing costs) and then if there was an image i particularly wanted to view, i could press my stylus over where the image should be and it would bring a pop up window to 'Load image' therefore just loading that image.
I cant get it to do it on the Opera on my P990 and was wondering if anyone else know's if there is a different way without having to change my settings to load all the images everytime i want to see one! Or have they just not put this option on the latest one.
Also for anyone who wants to know, my opera only manages to load about 3 pages until it crashes but I downloaded the opera mini. I know its not as good and doesnt have all the features of the main opera but i can surf at my hearts content without worrying about whether i am gonna get to see the next page or not!

Agree, it's really a bad phone that makes me almost believe that SE can't produce a phone at least can run normally... you can't even open a single useful application and takes call or sms... dumber than my W800 ....

Siandy is extremely unsatisfied with his P990. Whenever I visit some thread there must be a few of his complaining comments.His frustration is fully justified as his phone is full of bugs and all kinds of shortcomings. But if I had believed that P990 in general is like his phone i.e. that his phone is a true P990 representative I would have never bought it. But I did buy it and am delighted with a phone from the very first day. Every single function works perfectly, from the phone itself with voice dialing, sms, mms etc. to the wlan, camera, browsing with multimedia downloading, office, usb etc, etc. and I use all of this daily, fully to my hearts satisfaction. And if I am so sincerely happy with my purchase how can I say something different but to wholeheartedly recommend P990 to others. What's funny is that satisfied users are simply called SE fun boys as there is no chance that P990 can be good. I am sory to say but it can and it is in my case and many other cases. I do believe in other people's problems with the phone but believe me there is the other side of the medal.

I am one of SE big fans for sure, and as long as i used SE product was very satisfiing to me. But this time when i buy the top of their product they gave me phone full of bugs ( mine is singapore ver.) and same with many who use singapore ver. there is no update for us (R2 is latest for org) and if you say that many of you satisfied with the overall performance of your P990 makes me wonder. I'm doing this because i would like to warn everybody from getting bad product.. (if only there is more information i've got before buying P990 i would have been chosen other smart phone). When the time they could make this phone as good as they promised on their advertising, i would be glad to recomend it to all people
Some of us even sold their P990 because it's too unsatisfied and can't accept that, i'm still hoping but don't want other people getting fooled.
If i'm the only one who have this problem then i would be glad to delete all my post before and apologized to everybody cause giving them wrong information. How bout that? cheers

You´re not the only one, but neitehr is koto...i also am satisfied with the P990 and NEVER would tell anyone it is a bad phone...it is imperfect, and has lots of things to optimize, but even at its present state, it just doesn´t have competition IMHO
What koto is trying to say, is that you are becoming a bit annoying mate

maybe annoying for people who is satisfied with their own phone and recomend people to buy useless phone? I think there is not much to talk in this treads... please read all post before and that's all about bugs and complain... so what actually the use of this tread if not for people to say what thay think, their problem with their phone, or help other people to solve the problem? no heart feeeling, just wanna get thing right...

well guys having used the p990 for a month or so all i can recommend to those who wish to buy this phone is you must really be able to accommodate most of its shortcomings mentioned in this long forum ,tho to be honest u may not experience most of them

I have already said in a few of my previous posts that I am in deep peace with my P990. So believe me I can read a thousand posts that say P990 is a trash, crap, bs etc. it will not affect me at all, because I have a first hand experience. But before I bough it I used to surf this forum in searching for the answer and know how much influence every comment, good or bad had on me.
So please, be free to empty all your unsatisfaction through your posts, I have no objection. But for those people who are looking for facts in order to make eventual decision I want to say that yours are without doubt one side of the medal, but there is also very bright side which me, Ares and other satisfied users represent and that side is not less true than yours. I fully agree with Ares that phone is not perfect but is by far the best at the moment, a true seven mile step towards ultimate smarth phone vision.
That's about phone, nothing personal. To be honest I like your sence of humor:)

Exactly, to keep saying the phone is useless is ridiculous. And like everybody experience the same, really funny. It should be a balance.
