i actually tweeted them yesterday to let them know it wasn't available on the market for X10a. I suppose they took care of it cause I just looked and it's on the market now. I just installed it and first impression is that it's pretty nice. Just need to get used to the slightly different keyboard layout (I was using HTC keyboard before).
So far the predictive and auto correction works really well. I look forward to seeing how it improves as I use it more.

Does the external speaker sound like crap, or do I have a faulty one? There is no bass or treble. It sounds fine with the headphones. My gf has x10 mini, and it sounds much better.

Yes the external speaker on the x10 is a touch tinny considering it's a large phone. And call quality is too quiet

The external speaker on the X10 is pretty awful.Dont even bother listening to music through it.Hope it improves in the future for the purpose of when you activate the speaker for voice calls.

The voice call volume can be improved through software update. I experienced that with a Nokia phone I had once. It was much louder after update no need to change acoustics

@caff111
no problems with APNDroid or 3G reception with me after the update. luck of the draw i guess. hopefully you can resolve it by just uninstalling/reinstalling APNDroid, as opposed to having to do a full reset.
on call volume, i suppose there was a very slight improvement with the recent update, but still nowhere near good enough to be able to hear calls in noisy environments, unlike my other phones. cmon SE! get it together already!

There are many apps that I have come across and they only run on Android 2.X above. Can't wait for Android 2.1 update for X10
