Well, it seems we didn't require too many brain cells to work out what triggered Zidane's head-butt last night:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/[....]_2006/teams/france/5164094.stm

Seems red is becoming the new black; the AIDS-funding-orientated red SLVR, red PEBL, red K610i, new red K750i, now a red Samsung E870 is exclusively available in red from O2's site:
http://shop.o2.co.uk/student/[....]dID=consumer:SAM:E870RED:GROUP

The crazy new phone pricing drops continued further today, with the K800i dropping by another £20 overnight on mobilefun's site and now slightly cheaper than Expansys. Not long before it'll be in the mid 200's, which is what the new K610i currently goes for sim-free from Mphone:

just had a long hang out with my boss. my great friend actually. always nice when your friend is your boss, or in my case it is. our company is on the verge of going big. i am very excited. it is always great to be involved with something when it starts happening.

the only proof of intelligent life out there is the fact that they haven't tried to make contact with us yet:-) .:bleep:.

Intelligent alien lifeforms won't make contact with us until we can travel at the speed of light.

Hey chaps, if you really want to help a good cause, spend your computer power on 'folding@home'. A more appropriate and 'urgent' cause especially if you are a 'fellow african'/south african. (around 25% of all african-southafricans are HIV-positive). Go look at the users-map of Eastern Cape on the folding@home site and see that only 2 computers are helping (my pc and laptop) and that has been like that for the last 2years :-( I have tried to 'jumpstart' a Esato folding team with no success. Also at my work the govermenent won't allow the software to be installed. (every 2-nd office has a fairly new pc installed and they must be on day and night ! Only a few are used for proper work thou) This message was posted from a Nokia

When i consider some of the leaders of a few countries i actually wonder whether we don't already have alien life-forms dwelling amongst us, not necessarily intelligent though...

My all-time favourite Bushisms are "Rarely is the question asked, Is our children learning? ":28-03-2000 and

"...Nigeria is a fledgling democracy... that's an important continent." 11-10-2000

"We spent a lot of time talking about Africa. Africa is a nation that suffers incredible disease.":15-06-2001

@brix,if i were u,i wont have reached for my camera...i would have given him a Wedgie for the lousy MS he has been selling us.

Edit:that reminds me of this Seinfeld episode "library"

ELAINE: Why do they call it a wedgie?
GEORGE: Because the underwear is pulled up from the back and ... it wedges in..
JERRY: They also have an atomic wedgie. Now the goal there is to actually get the
waistband on top of the head. Very rare.
ELAINE: Boys are sick.
JERRY: Well what do girls do ?
ELAINE: We just tease some one 'til they develop an eating disorder.

@dr_thug: I couldn't do anything to the guy, there were just too many American secret service agents nearby.

Overall his keynote address was ok, nothing earth-shattering...in fact he didn't talk much Windows...the big issue was how African governments could help their citizens breach the digital divide, especially now when so much economic development is linked to a government's ability to provide/faciltate IT.

Bill Clinton's keynote address was quite good, he stressed the point that for Africa to overcome many of it's issues, technology would have to be put at the forefront. The question though is how many African states are willing to adopt technology to advance their citizens, the same technology which will mean an end to those who aspire to be dictators.

It's quite ironic that this happens in the same week that President Robert Mugabe is using Chinese technology to supress those agitating for democrtic change in our northern neighbour.

Has anybody here played a game called Text Twist? I downloaded it onto my better half's 6230i, and she's been hooked on it ever since.
