Well, if you look carefully at left side of carpet (top right part of picture) you can see some difference at the very end of carpet, on newer fw this information is more visible than other but than again, I can't really see any significant difference between R1BC002 and R1CA021.

What I surely can say is that newer fw is better than R1AA008 and users concerning about some photo/video quality loss can safely upgrade to R1CA021.

On my Sony Ericsson K750i, I have R1J002 and it has worked perfectly (sometimes). Should I update it? Sometimes on my phone it freezes, not often, but once in a while. Thats the only problem. Should you consider updating it? I have a realy old firmware?

Does anyone have this firware still? Do you have any problems?

Thanks, KLG2992- Kevin

I have a big problem. I was using R1BC002 and I updated to R1CA021 from SEUS, but now the phone sais "Insert correct sim card". It was working before and it was unlocked.

What should I do???

@Blade Runner
hmm.. yeah i agree with you anyway. for those users that have F/W before R1BC002, there's no hesitate that you should upgrade to R1CA021 immediately... BUT! there's always a but , if you're already a R1BC002 Firmware Users.. think carefully before you upgrade to R1CA021..cheers~

Wow! That's pretty old!

Absolutely. You will get higher maximum volume through the speaker and headphones, better quality video, a slight increase in photo quality, better reception and a smoother and slightly enhanced User Interface. See the first post for full details.

@metalchaos
I would try re-updating and possibly try a different SIM to see if it's just your SIM or all SIMs come up with this error.

I am disappointed to find out that I still have random distortion on call recording on the latest firmware. It has always been my end that gets distorted though, so I can live with it.

compadre! wots your network? mine is SMART and im on prepaid.. no distortions on my part.. but the good thing is the earpiece volume was turned up. even if i place the phone an inch away i can still hear the sound clearly. and my voice is clearly heard on the other end... well thats what they say. the reason why i said that the earpiece volume was turned up because i can still hear it even on busy streets. (R1CA021)

rocky, smart and post paid. try call recording, you'll see what i mean. and not once, many times to hear the distortion.
