True, but its still missing that sleek look. W960 balanced that with just the right complexity, and it did it perfectly, this looks too simple somehow. Anyway, on a different note, if you look at the bottom corners of the front face, dont you also see what looks like very blurry call/hang up buttons?

I see something blurry, but theres no way I can tell what it is. Thats why I originally thought there were hardware buttons that had been blurred out.

I personally doubt there will be touch buttons, but you never know. Bear in mind 'with the most crucial parts blurred out'

It doesn't look exactly like the W960i, but it certainly looks more like it than the X1 does.
I'm really digging the touch-sensitive buttons if it indeed has them. This is a phone I could hang onto for a long time. Maybe even two years!

Yeah but it seemed like Mizzle and Pop Lover were trying to say its not blurred out how we're thinking, its just blurred because its a poor quality video.

For the record, I see no evidence of "spot-blurring" to cover up any buttons or non-buttons. The entire thing is blurry. But it's a screencap of a video, so that's to be expected.
I suspect if things are strategically blurred in future pictures, it will be to cover up specs (like the camera resolution sticker on the back, even though we all know what it is).

I look forward to seeing the pic of the back portion of it. Im sure Paris will look fantastic once announced. Release date sounds very promising. I just hope it isnt a W960i 'wait till next year' situation again! People on this forum would explode

Its those 'Slaying' specs that will determine my opinion of this phone now.
(Also: LaurenK: 2 years!!??? I wish I had more money! *looks at 3 yr old K700i* LOL!)

I love phones.
I have a crappy RAZR I got free on contract, a K790 because I love James Bond, an N95 because I had to have it. I'll keep the K790 for nostalgia, ditch the N95, pick up the P5, and get a Z750 for cheap when my contract is extended.
That's not including all the CDMA phones I had before I switched to GSM.
Though I'm not going to be able to keep this up...which is why Paris will need to last a long time while I save up.
I too want to see the back of Paris. And the keyboard, even though I know what it looks like. And the side. And the top. And...

Finally some actual photos to calm the unbelievers! And like i said last week, announcement before end of May.
Regarding the looks, i find funny all the moaning - when it comes out, and with high res photos, people will drool. It is not a super beauty, but certainly its not horrible like some say now, that just makes me laugh - what is beatifull? the n95? The n82? The tytn? Lol
You all shoud be talking now about specs, not design. I am almost certain, its a vga screen, but need confirmation. And i need definite info about the processor
And i am glad they went for the p1 type qwerty, every day i love it more...the speed i got writing this post with it is just amazing, and it alows keeping the phone small (x1 keyboard is great but makes it too big)

Right now, my irrational fear that it's triband is creeping up. I see the tell-tale blue triangle above the reception bars and that scares me a lot. Of course, this could be my eyes deceiving me, or it could be that the screen is faked like they usually are in videos.
It probably isn't since I can't believe SE would screw up their most high-tech phone ever by sticking such a crummy radio in it--especially with all the progress that's been made in the past year and the fact that the X1 has all frequencies on board.
Still, crossing my fingers. I NEED a quadband UIQ phone.
