Please read the Ericsson manual on International Warranty. It specifically states that "You can have your Ericsson Product serviced within the warranty period in ANY COUNTRY where an IDENTICAL product is sold by an authorized Ericsson distributor.... In order to be granted service, you have to present your original receipt specifying the date of purchase and serial number".
