Because everyone including randomuser, dacha, huiyi and zomg believe that one sony will have 20mpx cam with a big sensor and carl zeiss optics.
And why would sony use the so called other's 'ultrapixel' cameras in their phones when they themselves r a world leader in imaging ???

One Sony was supposed to have 20mpx sensor but now Sony has decided to opt for a Nokia 808 Pureview approach. The actual sensor itself will be 20mpx but it will shoot around 8mp/5mp stills in downsample mode.
This will result in better quality images with no noise and ample amounts of detail.
but will sony provide a option to capture in 20mpx mode like pureview 808 ?
And what abt marketing... It will b known as 20mpx cam or 8/5 mpx cam ?
Also i think it's unfair to call sony's one as ultrapixel bcoz the sensor in htc one is 4 mpx itself & captures images at 4 mpx without anything special in it...

And as I mentioned earlier, the sensor on one sony will be exclusive to Sony. Samsung/Apple etc won't get their hands on it.

This make me wonder.... are they going to introduce new naming scheme for this "One" Sony device?
or are they going to use another letter instead of Z, T or S?
They need to step up their game (for Naming the Products) the recent name of their devices are really hard for normal consumers to know, if they are not a Sony fan like us

Cybershot, and I want to first call the strategy to have the line-up go from hot camera-phone to a Cybershot camera that runs on android (something akin to the Samsung Galaxy Camera).

So basically Sony is trying to separate their high-end/ flagship from the regular mid to low Xperia line-up? I hope they can come up with a cool name.
