I also love this phone but how many times have specs like those changed after announcement? There's almost no chance of this phone with better video recording specs post production-wise.

For all you know, this might give an opening for a 7xx/8xx/9xx series T phone, and that might have QVGA video recording capability.

This is not a bad thought really!
I hoped for better quality video recording in my K790a but it didn't stop me from buying one. I doubt it'll stop you from buying a T650i.
Something better is ALWAYS over the horizon, my friends.
