Yes.
Anyone know if you can run wi-fi devices that conform to different 802.11 specifications at the same time through the same router? Or is that just plain silly?

EDIT: Just wondering really if I will be able to surf my P990i and PSP off the same router without having to change router settings and alternate between devices.

Does anyone have any information on the sync station that will be supplied (if SE will supply one) with the P990i? It would be nice of it had a seperate headset outlet.

Dude, it will be in EU around mid March.
Which network? easy one, it will be sold as Sim-Free and on special deals on certain network operators. The main problem is that network operator usualy receives the handsets after it is released to the markets as Sim-Free. They need time to evalute it on their own labs, insert their network services crap into it (which slow and downgrade the device on most occasions)... so to cut it short, Sim-Free on mid march, network, i guess it will be 3-4 weeks (at least) afterwards.

I wouldn't agree with the above post, alot of times the networks do all their modifications on pre-release phones in preperation, and get the production level phones before they are released sim-free, so in alot of occasions the sony ericsson sim free release and certain network release dates go hand in hand... Sometimes networks have the phone out beforehand, and sometimes (alot of the time to be fair) the networks bring it out later...

We will just have to wait and see what happens...

My friends p910i broke the other day, when he rang his insurance, they said they no longer had p910's, which would mean production has stopped, and then they told him they will replace it with p990 when that is out. They seemed to think that would only be a couple of weeks away. How correct or informed they are i don't know.

i dont think this is true we all saw the p990 first on an advert for ORANGE. i think they will have it exclusively for a month or so ( contract of course ). just like the p800 and the p900 were.
