Wow verison 10.01 with nightmode is good, very good.
Is version 10.01 better than version 10? Or do they both do different things?
Also is there a way to put the nightmode settings into cam driver version 2.71 cos that would be good. Oh and could you do it so the shutter speed is quicker as well on the 2.71 driver.

wow, now i feel confused about what driver to use, i'm quite happy with 2.71, i think i will stick with it for awhile before trying the 10's...anyway, mine is the same, the camera would crash if i leave it in video with night mode settings, my firmware is R1CA, just wondering if aksd could fix this problem...

hi, i already test the hybrid 2.71, and i have the same problem that marcpogs. in video mode with the nightmode turned on, the phone record the video correctly, but once you close the cam cover, the cam donīt work until you reboot your phone.
sorry for my bad english.

ive tried a lil workaround for this:

after recording a complete video.... be reminded not to close the shutter immediately... put it back on standby mode by clicking the trigger once.
then put it back on photo mode... then close the shutter.. this way youll never have to reboot your phone.

and one more thing about the version 10's, when tried to look at my software version... it shows version 16... now were really movin forward..

if we talk quality again... to each his own.. 2.71 has its good qualities... and the 10s are i think at par with the hybrids... but i have notice the night mode function is extremely clean... no noise at all as if youve shot that on full light support... but then again drawback from the 10s driver is since that i cant hold my hand still... for me its such a blurr. i cant post comparisons right now coz i got mah hands full... but trust me.. theres no such dramatic difference in them.. only the night mode of 10s. but still i can live up to that of 2.71

to tell you frankly.. im gettin tired of all these place replace factor...

but my hats off to aksd for this continuing support for a better driver..
