Although that is OT as any GPS will work with the TyTN get one with a SiRF Star III chipset. I highly recommend the Holux GPSlim236 and the cheapest place I know is

What range do you get when using WiFi on the TYTN? Is it similar to a laptop? To anybody with both a TVTN & P990 would you say either has better range?

thanks ^^

you can improve the wireless range on the tytn by tweaking some registry codes, uses more battery though as it does an aggressive search.
also what are you using on your router wib/ or wig ?

@Darky
You can get them cheaper on EvilBay though it will probably come from the Far East.

i can't belive this now.... got my Voda 1605 changed for a new one yesterday and got a HT631 batch.
although, my screen alignment issue has now dis-appeard, my slide out keyboard is screwed.
Some of the keys only work if you press them really hard, i mean really hard.
will they get worn it something?
i really dont want to take this back too. i have had some many phones changed now.

absolutely gutted.
bought a p800 on day one, then a p900, then after a while a p910i, loved em to bits - almost stuck with the p910 coz of tomtom, almost wish i had now.
got a p990i last week, and then by coincidence found out i was head contact on our work tmobile account, which includes 42k of credit (

) so ordered myself a Tytyn as my workfone for HSPDA, which came a day later.
the p990i is an absolute pig to use, the tytyn a breeze. apart from the radio, i can't find a single reason why id prefer the 990, especially as ive managed to send 3 blank texts to ppl with it.
i actually slightly prefer the styling of the tytyn too, with the black and claret cover, whereas i keep looking at the horrible qwerty keyb on my flip-off 990 wondering if ill ever work out how to navigate it without having to touch the screen.
i tend to agree with the tagline of the register's review, how the mighty has fallen.
