My guess is around 700-900$. Its down to 660$ here in Sweden, wouldnt count on that though.
1. Does anyone know if they are to include the excellent "+today" view (used on P1) at idle screen? What I have seen they replaced it with some walkman function to show your currently played song/track.
2. Any new rumours about the release date?

For "+ Today" function, i think it will be there on the W960i. In the various (too few) videos of the W960i, it is indeed replaced by the currently playing song, but the same happens on the P1: if you stop playing a song, the view goes back to "+ Today".

To answer some questions:
I put that signature in because I don't want to be seen as an official face of SE, because I'm not. Even so, I am limited in what I can say about products and can only really comment on things that have been announced.
The screen appears to be a hard plastic, but it may be glass - difficult to tell. I carry the phone around in my pocket (on its own) and haven't had any trouble with scratches yet.
As with the W950, the lit up symbols between the main keyboard and the screen can be pressed for next/ previous track and play/stop. They work from within the walkman player and also when you highlight the walkman section on the 'home' screen. They light up when they can be used.
On my current device, the keyboard has been improved (the keys slope a little now and feel much better, it also lights up better) and there are some minor cosmetic changes like the "walkman' logo on the side being better defined and the volume buttons being more pronounced. There will probably be another iteration or two of the hardware before release, but they may not have any more external/cosmetic changes.

No "+Today" on the main screen. You get a mini walkman player, which is displayed even when no song is playing. Personally, I prefer it this way. On the main screen there are also icons to take you to the main menu or to display the bank of shortcuts. In practice, I find this works really well.

This "+Today" screen you all are talking about - Is it a screen that shows you your calendar entries, to-do list, emails received, texts received etc?
If the W960 does NOT have this I may just have my mind made up for me and will have to go for the tytn 2.
Jimster, you say the w960 doesnt have this screen. but is there an option on the phone that allows you to have what I mentioned above?

The P1 has the +Today on the main screen that drops down to show you a summary of the detail you are after.
The W960 isn't aimed at the same market as the P1 so maybe the walkman player was deemed more important?
I don't know, I'm just guessing.
You can have shortcuts setup to get to the various applications like calendar, tasks, email, messaging but there doesn't appear to be an 'overview' screen on the W960. I'll have a check though, I may have just missed the setting.
As stated before, the software is subject to changes before release so nothing is concrete at the moment.

Thanks for the reply Jimster.
I think I'll put a hold on the tytn again

The built in speaker, in my opinion, is better than the W950 and P1, but not as good as through headphones or using 'external' speakers. You aren't going to be using the phone's internal speaker as your home hi-fi
Even at this stage, the software on the phone seems very stable and I have had a lot of things running concurrently without any slowdown.
