New poster on the forumn but have been a regular reader since purchasing a K750i, thought it was about time I joined, so here's my first post.
Have just recieved my K850i, general pleased with it except the bugs other users are reporting.
One thing I find annoying is the fact that all pictures and video's appear in the media browser, I used to hide all the mucky video clips and pictures that are blue toothed at tea breaks at work in a folder buried deep within another folder on my K800 and these pics/vids didn't appear in the K800's version of Media browser. Does anyone know a way around this.
It would have been much better to only use nominated folders for media to appear in the media browser, it's also annoying as the media browser shows all the ring tones, sound clips and recordings, all I want it to show is my MP3 music collection. Do you think sony will correct this is the future, or am I gonna have to risk getting caught !! )

I have the same err.. problem. I started MMSing the pics to myself ( and saving them there. Too many times has the missus looked at my pics and seen my mates gfs twang staring back at her with this phone....

Getting really quite fed-up with the 029 f/w now. First phone started crashing (& rebooting itself) whenever I tried to do a send/receive (no improvement after deleting and re-adding account), now it's doing the same thing at times randomly when browsing the web but now also consistently when trying to download the updated Gmail version - have tried deleting the existing Gmail app and clearing the webbrowser cache first but no improvement.
Not sure 037 will fix this but hopefully a proper bugfix will be out soon. In the meantime I'll probably try a master reset (once I've copied off all my favourites, etc.).

Some friends of mine told me to use R1CA029 gr/blue adriatic but then when they tried to update with seus, the strange thing is that seus updated their phones with a 037 fw branded by orange.....So that's strange....
I found instead this other version CUSTOMIZED GREECE/ GREEN ADRIATIC K850i R1CA037 wich isn't branded and supposedly has italian in it.....
Am I doing the right thing updating with this version?
This version seems to be for the green trimmed phone...and mine is blue...Am I going to have problems with it?...
Please if someone could help...

SEUS doens't mess up phones like that.
I suppose your phone was already flashed with the Adriatic Filesystem but whoever did it, didn't change de customization version.
So when SEUS went to update it, it looked at the customization version and updated the phone accordingly.
Actually it does. I had the same problem as zabaro. I just upgraded my non branded adriatic 029 firmware via SEUS, and my phone become a 037 Orange adriatic firmware.
I guess i would have to use davinci to get a my non branded firmware back.

Last night my phone said that it had found an update, and it downloaded it OK over the air, and then it started doing the update and everything seemed to go fine, but then it restarted and now all it does is lights up its keyboard and buzzes the vibrating alert for a tiny second.
Just like Terminatorak's phone did.... Does anyone know if I can fix this? Or do I have to start with SEUS and take it from there..?

I called t-mobile and they don't seem to know what I am talking about with regard to the firmware and flash; they keep on saying that it's the way I hold the camera!
