Hello guys,
How can I backup the original camdriver0.dat using XS++?
They download button is greyed out. I can't make a backup copy of the original file, just in case I need to send my set for warranty claim.
Thanks a bunch!!!

My opinion is that for normal mode we want "quick" photos.Maybe you should think of "flat" photos. That is no much of anything. If someone wants ,uses photoshop, corel or anything else. ISOs should be kept low (priority) and shutter speed low (down to 1/6 i think is ok for steady pics).Normal ISO @500 is too much.Up to 320 is ok.Using low ISO and low speed we have good "depth" in the photo.I mean clean foreground and background ,especially at close pics.At portrait there should be Clean foreground and "blurred" background. So we need fast shutter speed and higher ISO (or flash)...artistic approach...We also can use it to freeze the rain at higher shutter speeds (up to 1/5000).Document mode is good the way you thought of it.An alternative is to use doc mode as VIVID mode for good light conds...all full!!!Landscape is perfect too.Nightportrait should be flat too I think.I preffer a flat one than a ruined one because of the colored dots.Twilightlandscape is good with 2 sec shutter but you have to be ....a rock to keep it steady. Is there a setting to choose 2 or 1 sec?
normal mode remains the same as last version for simple quick photos i have only added extra modes, by flat you mean less sharpness i have already decreased the sharpness on night modes, normally it would use iso 640 on really low light pics, so iso 500 is less and a improvement, my portrait mode is already set up correctly as you said, you have sports mode if you want higher shutter speeds, document already has the so called vivid mode it's called daylight mode and has higher colour sat etc, 2 sec shutter speed is an opition twlightlight landscape mode remains the same as the last version 1 sec shutter and iso 125, i have actually added to it and completed twlightlandscape now it's like this
normal 1 sec iso 125
mode 1-2sec iso 100
mode 2- 1/2 iso 200
and i changed the night mode on landscape to
1/4 iso 400

what about mid light photos (let s say evening photos) or heavy cloudy or in sade?In most cases we need flash in order to have clear pic. If we raise ISO we have RGB dot. Will there be an optional ff?More light will be needed and the only way is flash I think...Anyway I m looking forward for this drv.I d like to test any beta you make
ps.All my photos are about 800kb.I think for photo of 3mp it should be 50% bigger size. That is 1100-1300kb.Can you fix it?Can we bypass the compression? This would be a big step! The quality would be great.I use a Panasonic video camera @3mp and the dif is remarkable (I do not dare to campare to my nikon camera!!!.)

i really appreciate your camera driver, but i would suggest you to optimize its FPS during photo shoot since people are sometimes in a hurry taking pictures, but unfortunately your current updated driver, 2.99 special ed 2, isn't providing a better fps, would you mind consider try making it like with UCD, it's current version has more fps and then it has a faster auto focus, why not try optimizing your driver, i would really appreciate that.

@jjokeris- increasing the file size beyond 900kb is impossible the camera will just crash it's limited the best i could do was to set it so you would get at least 800kb
@jrocks0829 the viewfinder fps affects the shutter speed so quicker fps would mean darker noiser photos.

because anthing over 908kb the phone can't handle it or maybe it's just a limit set by the firmware i don't know.

if you increase the buffer size x2 or x3 and the "save time"?
ps.maybe there should be a ff daylight mode with fast shutter speed...
