When I tried to install a language a message pop up saying this:

"The following software must be present on this phone before the installation can proceed: Software name: SonyEricsson200CC6FLanguageID Version:1.00(0) Install this software and begin the installation again"

Have some knows where can I download this software?

On the SonyEriccson support page there is language pack for the Organiser software version: 1203-8784 R6H815. And I have the 1205-0647 R6H815 I think is hong kong firmware. I want to change the language and I can't

I would like to know where can download an update the organizer version?

Nipsen, you dont know that they dropped p1 (and w960) support, its only your pessimistic guess. Mine is that p1 and w960 will be updated at the same time of the first update of g900 and g700, and Mizzle also thinks that

No, I really think that's overly optimistic. Besides, as the support guy confirmed - they had sent some bug- reports to the engineers (one example of SE specific implementation faults, and one example of 3rd party problems), and it was decided they wouldn't do anything about either. That was some time early in February. As he explained, as long as it doesn't die and scream so everyone hears it, then they couldn't care less. I'll bet you good money that if a.. random well- placed insider pushed SE on the email application, they wouldn't know what to do, and would have no idea it was this bad, or of any way to program it properly.

And I won't go around suggesting that people buy the phone and gamble on that SE does a 180 turnaround on this, hires in a few coders, and then fix any of the glaring lacks about already released phones - when we have absolutely nothing from SE about their plans for their implementations for the g- series, and the other UIQ3.0 devices - except snippy remarks from their "support"- department, where they declare unanimously that anyone who isn't happy with just fiddling around the menus without actually using the phone can f**k off.

Judging by what's happened so far, I don't think that's unfair to say, either. It's too mild.

Of course - caveat - obviously, if people who buy the phone are happy with it and the other good and non- brain tumour inducing features it does have, such as good 3rd party support - that's fine.

But if the lacks do bother you, then don't go around pretending it's going to be fixed based on nothing but sheer wishful thinking, when we know how they've dealt with this earlier on.

with regards to reception, the amount of bars isnt important, its whether a call can be made or recieved and the quality of that call.

that seems to be ok from what people are saying so hoepfully its fine.
