Thanks guys

The camera is great on a sunny day. Not so much on a cloudy day, which is all you seem to get in England this time of year.

As explained I've had issues with the Orange firmware and I am very close to simply debranding, however I have a couple of queries.
On a non branded phone what does the Blogger Function do? Does it allow you to upload photos to anywhere? Also does it keep the geotagging data when you upload?
In respect to geotagging does that only work when GPS is on? Or does it give a more general inaccurate tag when GPS is not on?
There have been many issues with Google Maps, is there anyway to get the version of GM that is on the non-branded handsets?

Well finally got outside to have a shot with the C905, bit fuzzy and my camera skills are poor at best but I reckon the photos look really good quality, I'm impressed its definitely a big step from my old camera phone.

Is the noise redcution still very strong in the lasest firmware????, and it's not so much the camdriver that needs improving, the main firmware holds a few camera settings aswell, and the cammodule has the main stuff built-in, jpeg size limit, post-processing settings etc, The pic quality isn't gonna improve much with newer firmware it will stay about the same the noise reduction will always be very powerful.

I've not tried the latest firmware as SEUS won't let me update yet, but the Noise Reduction can be overcome with Photoshop afterwards. Just apply a couple of levels of 'Sharpen' and it comes out a treat.
