Here in Spain they are really expensive and the pro not available yet, in German online shops they are 240/270e.
I buy my Pro in a Spanish on-line store, maxmovil!
They have Mini and Pro

what is the difference between 'data' and 3g?
Nothing at all really. Basically Data = internet
2g/3g EDGE etc are types of signal/network speeds you use your phone on for data/internet.
Someone will maybe explain it better than I can. My descriptive skills aren't very good.

I really like my new X10 mini but I have a problem. Horizontal view doesn't work in messages menu. The orientation is set in the menu and it works everywhere except in messages menu.
I tried to reset the phone and also did a master reset (restored factory settings). Any other ideas what to try to make it work?
Do you use anything to protect the screen? Won't it get scratched?

Well - if you really want the smallest and lightest device, then go for the "normal" one. I own the X10 mini and yesterday I could get hold of a mini Pro. The difference in size and weight - for me - is quite big, especially the weight. I wanted to have it small and light. So I go with the virtual numeric pad (which is feeling better than my old W890), but I'm not texting very often.

If you refer to the SMS/MMS app, then it is not designed to work in landscape mode. You can use a third pary app like
handcentsms, which works in landscape mode as well.

My unit had a screen protector included that I put on the screen. However, I have neve ever managed to get any screen scratches on any phone I have used to date. Probably becaus I usually carry them in a pouch with belt clip rather than in my pocket.

As far as I know it should work. Just look at this picture from Esato:

And also if I turn my phone to horizontal and then go into messaging menu the phone seems it wanted to rotate the screen for a second but nothing happens.

thanks!
you are right, prices now are those you mention in maxmovil.
I am still in doubt
I prefer the lightness and simplicity of the simple mini one....I can read the battery resonse is exactly the same, iusn't it? and music quality through earphones?
