I wouldn't believe SE doesn't have separate departments for separate phones, or at least separate series

I had 031 and brod happened. Yesterday i flashed 031 again with kulakendi and discovered for the time being 2 differences. In the network selection it doesn't appear hsdpa option and when i enter the media first option is pictures and before was music. Everything else looks the same!

Why did you flashed to 031 again? dont you care if BROD happen again?
I will pick my new k850 next friday and I hope it doesnt come with 031 firmware.

I thought the K department no longer existed, as the Cybershot branded phones are now the C series and that it is now C department

I take the risk because i didn't like earlier firmware. Slow and drain battery fast.
If brod happen again i put earlier firmware and wait until next upgrade comes out!!

Although this is not software issue,I would like to share some news with you guys. I had just gotten back my k850i from servicing because of damaged earpiece(cannot hear what the other party is speaking but can hear when I turned on speaker) , they replaced a new one, not only that, they also DID something to my phone, and now my phone FEELS as STURDY AS K800i !!! NO MORE CREAKING SOUND WHEN YOU PRESS THE BACK!!! THE BACK IS REALLY STURDY NOW!! EVEN WHEN I TOOK OUT THE BATTERY AND PRESS THE BACK IT IS STILL TOUGH AND NO MORE CREAKING SOUND! THE WHOLE PHONE HAD AS IF CHANGED A NEW SKIN!!! WAY TO GO SE!!~~~ And I knew this was my original casing as I still had my martin field protector on my phone. Now it made me kept squeezing my new and more sturdy built phone xD

I do not know if any members who had just recently bought the k850i did your phone creak when you pressed on the back speaker?? If you guys feels this phone is solid enough, it means SE had done something and had improvised on the creaking casing matter.

Firmware however, is still R1EA031, but Im sure there will be a better firmware out!

Yea, I noticed that when sellin them at work. In december they all stopped creaking and were solid as. Maybe an aluminium bracing inside? Couldnt notice anything different from looking under battery socket. Still, I wonder if you can book this in at a service centre as a warranty job?
