@philosophy72
the stylus for the M600 and W950 are the same but just different colours. And as masseur said the P990 stylus is different in size to the other UIQ3 devices.

jalf thank you! i am at work now so i cant do anything with P990i. There is one thing i would like to know and cant find it on forum. How to turn on silent without flip? I hope i wont make anyone angry with my lame question but i would realy like to know. Is P990 with flip off sort of disadvandage because of hidden "more, calls,.." buttons or is that only on M600i?

Yes pachy i know that thx, but i was thinking about the button combination or single button hold.

i visited my local SE dealer today morning (m6OO fix) and he said that new firmware for P990i should be available in mid-end of january. i do not know if that is comfirmed but i hope this will be the update that we/you all have been waiting for so long!

two questions

1. Is there a way of keeping count of how many SMS's you have sent?

2. How do you copy & paste using the screen itself, nothing else other than the sylus. sometimes, I paste in previously copied text into a text field. I do this by accident, but i must be recreating the way you are meant to paste it

Thanks

In the SMS section if you select the sent items folder you will see the SMSs that you have sent. Other than that, I don't think there is a global counter - except your service provider, they can send you an itemized bill.
There usually is a cut/copy/paste option somewhere within the currently active menu. There should be a shortcut that can be typed with a stylus, Palm devices had them. Somewhere on this forum there should be a list of all the shortcuts.
