When will Sony Ericsson include increased security measures to lock messages, files or just about everything like on Motorola? I wish someone with a say would make note of this to at least get it in future phones if it can't come in a firmware update. Time to catch up SE. Try to do it yourself. Tool for this is already exist! Read at http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=123260 As Russian user Vilko made break-through for Motorola patching so Russian user Darkmen made the same for SE!

I installed the latest Update Service Client,The latest Java Runtime Environment, and removed my MS DUO,BUT cnothing changes: whenever i hold the "c" button and plug in the cable, the damn phone just turns on.
I've updated my F/W 3 times before but this time i don't know what the problem is.
Do you have any Idea?
p.s.:I'm R1BC on EU_1

It's the SIM card you need to remove, not the Memory Stick!

I have spoken to Orange (UK) who tell me that R1CA021 will be available for Orange users by the end of next week.

Hello guys. I am trying to upgrade my w800 but I am stuck with Seus. I have installed the drivers-no problems there. When I hold C and plug the usb the software insists that I have to release C, which I have already done! Can anyone help me?

PS- Is THIS the right cable for the upgrade?
