lol! No Francois, the day is simply too hectic to even come online! Imagine this... A colleague had to do feedback from a workshop which we attended a month ago. It turns out that it's not feedback at all, but a full-blown workshop which she has to present... Only problem is that she was taken to the hospital last night with abdominal pains... and of course moi is subsequently left holding the bag and having to improvise like crazy. At least that's over now, next stop from here in a few hour's time is Jeffrey's Bay for a few days. Thank God for weekends!

I agree with Matlare that exclusivity should only be for a month before and a month after the World Cup and not six months but overall I don't have any sympathy for Vodacom- they're making bucketloads of money as things stand.

Welcome to eraser_druid...me also in Cape Town, currently comfortable in my office but dread going outside for we have some shitty weather and more is yet to come this weekend. Me thinks I'll hire a bunch of Western movies...maybe the Dollars Trilogy.

If I don't get called back to work this weekend, I will go for my "Aliens" Sci-fi DVD. It had the Aliens Quadrilogy, Predator I and II and the stupid Alien Vs. Predator flick.

I would have loved to really sleep in ALL Saturday long.

@coola: HEY HEY!!! Dont go around saying AvsP was stupid!!!! The monie was a bit short, yes, but for any AvsP fans (from the games to the novels etc) its was a good platform for a part 1. (hopefully it did well enough at the box office for a sequel!!!!)

@coola and abu: I love sci-fi and horrorr but when the two genres are combined in one movie the results are not always good. I prefer movies like Event Horizon which uses sci-fi as a tool of suspense with little or no blood. In the same breath I should say that I'm one of the few people to openly admit that I enjoyed both Saw and Saw 2...they're absolutely brilliant.

@jmash: Ain't Nelspruit close to one of the tropics...that would explain the good weather...hold up, let me grab my atlas.

Saw 1 was indeed brilliant,I haven't seen Saw 2 yet.The latest horror installment I saw is The Hills Have Eyes.If you've seen Wrong Turn you'll agree with me when I say the 2 movies might come from the same makers. But THHE is more scarier than Wrong Turn.

@brix: Event Horizon was a let down. When I saw one of my fav actors L. Fishburn in a sci fi i was excited till I saw the movie. The only cool concept was the ship went to a place so chaotic that the chaos is almost a substantial element that was brought back to our sector. Havent gotten any comments about seti@home from this thread.
