Just upgrade my generic global X10 to R2ba026 via SEUS, didn't noticed any differences though.

Well, I have noticed marked improvements in the speed of timescape.
As i mentioned before using Timescape as Home responds much better now... it used to lag wickedly earlier..

What is with all the useless updates by Sony Ericsson lately?
Someone tell them to stop wasting time and get their asses working on the 2.1 update and release that ASAP. Early August preferably.

This last update definitely improved my
battery life so it was most welcomed.
Early August sounds pretty damn good to me

Hopefully since it's the most noticable annoying problem with the X10.
Off topic: I see you are using Galaxy S, what are your impressions about it?

isn't it clear that the current small update is still being rolled out and the 'new' FW numbers (with a small number change in the last 3 digits i.e.020-026) are actually just regional and network versions of the same thing? The big updates would change the earlier characters in the version number i.e.R2BAxxx may become R3AAxxx when they upgrade to 2.1.
They said 2.1 update will be late Q3 at the earliest but most regions and variations will be early Q4 so I don't think there's any need to get hot under collar when the current update is released to a new region. Stay calm folks. We won't 2.1 for at least 6 weeks and in that time the current updates will continue to filter out to different regions.

I agree with Ricky. The less we mention 2.1 the quicker it will come.So the month of August is a 'no talk about 2.1' month.lol
