Thanks for the tips, will do! I'm even thinking now, whats to say that the person who signed for it will even be in tomorrow. Imagine if they'd gone on holiday for example. What, i'd wait 2 weeks? No thanks! I think it's because I'm quite polite on the phone to o2. Believe me that will change if i:
a) don't hear anything tomorrow
b) the phone has been used
Does anyone think I could demand they send me a new k800 and then i'd send the used one back? Otherwise i'll be a week without a phone!

After one day with the k800 imy thoughts are that it is not the step change of the tT68 > T610/630 > K750. Mild improvements all round but nothing particular to throw away you k750 just yet or pay huge amounts for upgrade.
I also find it more bulky than the the slight increase in the raw measurments would suggest. Particularly the Cyber-shot lens cover is a bit clumsy and adds to the bulk. I would like to see it all slimmed down or might as well go the whole hog with a P990???

what i most want the k800 i for is the steaming of music via bluetooth. I have a pioneer 9800 head unit in my car which supports bluetooth phones and steaming of music via a2dp profile.
Cant wait to test it out.
So, o2 have them in stock, ready to order. £219 to existing contract holders. Only reason i couldnt upgrade for free was because i upgraded to the w800i a month or so back for free
Following on from my post above.
Never arrived today. Called o2. They could see i called yesterday for the phone but no order had been placed.
I told them that i had paid via credit card and could not understand whats gone on (i had a few things i bought yesterday) so i said to them that £219 is still waiting to clear my account (its in what barclaycard class as things purchased in the last day or so)
She took me through ordering another and i said fine. She said the amount will be on your next bill I said hold on a minute i have given credit card details for this!.
she cancelled and said she would speak to the lad who i ordered the phone with and he would call me back. He didnt, I called them and spoke to a nice girl. She said she would order me one there and then which would be with me in 2 - 3 days (probably because its 5 pm in uk here they cant get it to me for tomorrow)
She said to me their systems can often not show payment information for 48 hours, so said she would do a free order to get the phone out to me.
I called barclaycard to double check and the amount for o2 is not part of the most recent transactions, its for something else i bought.
So i am in two minds now, will the phone turn up and i get a free phone? Will it turn up and the amount be on my bill? Will it even turn up?
Not sure if to ring them back and tell them i have found out the amount hasnt been taken. I just want a difinative date it will be delivered, the guy yesterday was so adiment it would be here today, annoyed me,.

I have phones Orange and CPW who both say the K800I on Orange is not released yet. I phoned E2Save and they confirmed the K800I on Orange they are selling at the moment IS a branded Orange handset. How can this be?

Hi All - Just got my K800 today, and I'm very pleased with it..
Just one little gripe though - The manual.., mine looks as if it has just been "photocopied and stapled together" , it is very poor for a £350+ phone..
just wondered if mine was a rushed out temporary copy or if everyone else has the same black and white photocopied manual ??
The phone was bought from expansys in the uk, so it wasn't from any dodgy dealers etc...

The tracking site still says the same
Have spoken to O2 - they said they may deliver upto 8pm, not too likely though is it. Cant speak to DHL until the morning, unless anone knows a number?
