We'll I've prepared a sort of guide on driver modding......its basically a more detailed line by line explanation any doubts please ask. I've taken Driver 2.72 which is'nt a big improvement on 2.71 so you peeps dont have to switch. ANyway the improtanat thing is now everybody can mod their drivers to suit their needs and I can concentrate on actuall breaking the entire code and I'm sure I'll recieve ample help from all of you. THanks for all your testing help btw could'nt have come so far without you all. Open the camera driver with notepad to see the line by line explanation.

frz_1985, how do you create the .@ file?? i did all you said but my phone not recognized the camera. i taked other .@ file from the phone (Default.thm.@) and edited it by far manager and rename to camdriver0.dat.@ but dont work. I tested that with many different paths but i obtain the same result. please help. with this shortcut file changing between camera versions is much easier

PD:thanks a lot for your hard work aksd u r a genius. i hardly know this 10s drivers will be awesome.

u can place a shortcut file (ending with extension .@), in far manager, and shortcut the file to ur phone memory, or mem stick ..

then u won't need far manager no more, u can easily put/overwrite the camdriver file in ur mem stick, and if u restart ur phone, the new driver will be visible ..

in the shortcut file (camdriver0.dat.@) put this for example:

/tpa/user/other/cam/camdriver0.dat

and put that in the /FS/ifs/settings/camera/ folder in far manager (camdriver0.dat.@) and remove the original camdriver file .. and put the cam driver file in ur phone memory in the folder other/cam ..

that's all!

works fine by me, have this also for my customised menu, and layout.xml file ..

Does not work for me:-( Works with menu.ml but doesnt work when shortcuting camdriver0.dat. Whats your firmware? Im trying shortcut on W800/R1BC002. Could you plz put somewhere your file camdriver0.dat.@?

To 1X10N: You have to edit or create the file in hexa. Check this: http://forums.se-nse.net/inde[....]716&st=640&p=56577&#entry56577

To aksd: Great work! Keep pushing:-)
