Hello, i use a w890 Acoustic for my K850i, an the sound is much better that the original k850.

There is a Mod or acoustic file from w890 to get Clear audio and Clear bass presets in my k850?

And there is a mod to uptade the walkman 3.0 an get visualizations from w890 and other new Walkman Phones?

The k850 use walkman 3.0. but no visualizations.

Thanks.

Yes, it depends on the version of the theme, newer phones use Flash lite v2.1, while K850/W890/W910 use v2.0

You have to look themes specifically for your phone or others compatible to avoid that issue.

yes I know that and I use version 2 but even with that, on any icon it doesn't work.

If it already is 2.0 then the links aren't good edited, so probably made for a older phone..

I cannot get a2uploader to work with my K850i

This is exactly what I did in order:
1. I downloaded A2uploader bundle from rapidshare and installed the driver and tried to connect the phone while keeping a2uploader open and with 'C' pressed. But my phon turned on. System showed that a problem occurred during installation. So, I went to device manager. Under hidden devices, there was unknown device. I updated the driver. My system shows that the driver is installed and ready for use. I unplugged the phone and connected again holding C. Again phone turns on.
2. I uninstalled and installed again many times, but the same thing happens.
3. So, I downloaded and installed SEUS latest version and tried again. No hope again.

I even reinstalled my windows!!!

Any ideas?

I am not new to modding/flashing. I have flashed and modded K750, w810, K790, K510, etc. They all went smoothly.

I think the semc flash drivers are installed correctly and they are for DB3150 models, because the same works on my friend's laptop.

Instead of 'C' try pressing and holding 2+5.

I wonder if someone may be able to please help me with a problem I have with the layout_main.xml and menu.ml files I have uploaded as part of the K850i_modpack_v5_by_0kti. I am finding the font size too small, and also like to not have operator name in standby, with signal strength in the normal position also.

Sorry if this is a hassle I am no codebreaker lol, many thanks in advance

@gtr83

I tried pressing 2+5, 2 alone, C, etc.

But still phone turns on. I am sure my phone can work in flash mode. otherwise, it would not have worked on the friend's system.

When I press 2+5, and go to system manager, it shows up as Generic Flash Device instead of semc. I updated driver for that too.

May i ask one other question:
Even if we do not install any driver before connecting a hardware, the system should pop up a screen saying that new hardware found, right?

In this case, it does not pop up. Instead, not recognized error is generated, which means holding C or 2+5 is not recognized by system as a different mode, but it tries to take the phone as a mass storage device, right?

Any suggestions to deal with this?

The system should not instantly recognize the phone because it has to be switched off in order for Uploader to access the filesystem. Here's how I do it:

1. Turn off phone
2. Connect the DCU-60 to the PC's USB slot (adaptors not recommended)
3. Start A2 Uploader
4. Press "Filesystem tool"
5. Press 2+5 for 3 secs on phone
6. Connect DCU-60 to phone. Do not release 2+5 until the phone's SEMCBOOT is recognized.

Voila!
