on saturday me and chris were playing football on this bit of grass. this old man came out with ultra-snazzy pyjamas on and said to chris "if that ball goes on my garden i'll puncture it. i will." and i stood there laughing, so he turned and pointed at me "you're a right cocky one you are! ever so cocky! i bet you had a good time in my garden whilst i was on holiday!"
there was another lady in her garden at the time and she overheard the conversation. then the man went in & left us. 2 minutes later chris kicked the ball in this lady's garden. i had to go and get it. she said "look! i've had enough! you're going to get yourself hurt one day playing football!" at this point i turned around to conceal my laughter; hurt whilst playing football?! sure! she carried on; "look at me when i'm talking to you! i saw what happened just now; you just stood there laughing when that nice gentleman came out" at this point i turned around laughing again; nice?! whatever! she said something else and gave us the ball back.
