There are lots of alternatives for Whatsapp and some of them are way better but it's so damn hard to convince people to use it.

@Marly. How is your 920 experience.
It's fantastic! I expected it to be faster, than my Lumia 900, but it's
a lot faster

The screen is beautiful and very responsive!
I'm glad, we've decided last week to get a white one and not to wait any longer for a yellow one (which was my first choice).
Red and yellow are still rare here in NL, shops are now delivering phones, pre-ordered in January, and I didn't pre-order, so I'd probably get my phone the 2nd half of April, when I'd order a yellow L920 now.

As we have a black and magenta Nokia N9, a cyan Lumia 800 and a white Lumia 900, all of which have the same design (love it!), I now wanted a colour we didn't already have, i.e. red or yellow.
But at launch, Jan. 10, only black was available, white a few weeks later, red and yellow came more than a month later. As people pre-ordered all colours from November on, the waiting lists for the red and yellow versions were the longest and the fact, that, even now, shops still receive more black and white coloured 920's, than red or yellow devices, doesn't help. You can now order a black or white Lumia 920, and you'll recieve it tomorrow, with a red or yellow one, you can be happy, when you'll get it in April.
I was fed up waiting and ordered a white one
Funny side-effect is, that I received it last Thursday and up until now, none of my colleagues has noticed, that I have a new phone, because my Lumia 900 is white aswell
Doesn't bother me though, we buy our cars, phones, etc. for ourselves, not to impress others

I love Nokia!! You got all colours of the rainbow. I got a yellow shell cover for my Lumia 620. Apparently many forums people have been moaning about dust underneath the 920's front camera and proximity sensor. This can be blown out with compressed air but it does cause an issue with the sensor if it builds up. The gasket that surrounds the front camera only covers bottom and sides not the top(silly Nokia) Maybe if Nokia knows of this they will make new gaskets

Missed Esato recently as my IP is somehow blocked from this site!!
Had many things to share about the camera and the Lumia experience and some replies to WP vs other OSes specially the arguments made by Symbian users and also Steve's review of the 920..
Anyway, briefly said, WP8 delivers. And the Lumia 920 has been going great. I suffer with a bad handset due to the dust issue.. I solved it by pulling that dust through a home vacuum cleaner every two weeks.. Still frustrating to have this defect, but not up to give up the phone for two to three weeks for Nokia to examine it and either repair it or replace it..
Otherwise, the handset met all the expectations.. Unless Nokia release some super camera successor I would stick to it for two years.. Something like PureView I + II in the next flagship or something of the sort..

If Nokia manage a Xenon flash and a PureView I+II in their next flagship then they are heading for a big winner!!
Fingers crossed!
