Funny that I thought of Z1's refresh version as Z1S and a China-bound dual-SIM capable phone with downgraded specs to be named as Z1c
Hope Apple won't see it. Lol.

Glass in the previous tablet? He must be referring to Z Ultra right? Because Tablet Z has a soft touch back..

Yeah, Xperia Tablet Z already is a soft touch back.
It would be very nice though if Xperia Tablet Z2 is powered by S805 chipset and maybe can hence up the screen resolution up a notch since it is a 10" tablet perfect for pdfs. I like ultra sharp text.
Meanwhile, will continue to enjoy the tablet Z...

@hei
it's not likely that any device at CES will be announced with snapdragon 805... because it never happened before and qualcomm will introduce the cpu at CES so it will take time to arrive to new devices... i bet only the xperia z2 will have 805 and announced at MWC. for CES they will announce tablet z1 and mini z1 both with 800...

Great news ! This will finally unlock the full potential of Sony Xperia cameras by allowing us to use different noise reduction and JPG algorithms than the ones developped by Sony who smudges the details (at least for those who care enough about quality to post-process them on a PC). Exposing RAW support in Android API's could even allow developpers to develop a camera app from scratch, not only UI but more importantly the underlying engine, to improve the quality produced by the camera without interaction from the user. Until now, developpers have only access to the images already post processed, so there is no way to improve the quality as the damage is already done.
