I guess we'll see soon enough. The camera system's size doesn't look much different than last gen. Going by the focal lengths, main should have high mp for mid zoom. But I don't think the sensor would be any bigger than 1/1.52ish going by the perceived size.
Tony! So 10 iv has 5000mah battery. 1 iv should be the same.
Don't know why they needed to prove that tho.

Well, think it's better if the sensors are bigger.
xpr I agree, 1 iii had a distinct look with its unique frame, while this design probably allowed more space inside I don't like it as much. It's also getting a bit old maybe

I have a 1iii and I really like the design. But I fear that the tech press and some potential costumers may not react well to a design that wasn't refreshed at all. It's identical.
Personally, a much brighter screen and a significantly longer battery life are enough for me to consider an upgrade. The optical zoom is nice as well, but it remains to be seen whether Sony have improved the lens- the variable telephoto on the 1iii isn't very good tbh.
I suspect the sensors are mostly unchanged.

Just a theory, according to the previous leak, it can do seamless zoom
if that's not the 85mm-125mm optical zoom part, that could mean all camera support 4K120 and all camera support 20fps burst & 60fps AF/AE?
