why will they compete?...they are all same as u say... they must help themselves doing something good and new and why SE is keeping up with losers like them ?..this is the right question.SE is losing alot of money here.they are dedicating a lot of their resources to compete with all world mobile phone brands in the united states and europe NOKIA, SAMSUNG, MOTOROLLA, LG ...etc ....and the new coming hell iphone
who will SE compete if they looked at us ,NOKIA and NOKIA and NOKIA.
so let's say SE will take a half of 16 million and increasing mobile population.....they will earn a lot and recover their losing in us and europe.
after all... i think we don't deserve .
tell me about ur self mostafa

Who's losing where? SE is growing in Europe and this year it'll start to push a little in America. Both SE and Nokia aren't very big in the USA. SE can be big here in Egypt but we just lack the marketing.

it's not a problem in marketing i think.a small contract with any of the operators (vodafone,mobinil,etisalat) can solve the problem.

and why we say there is a problem even in marketing...look at NOKIA here in Egypt.they are everywhere that iam afraid someday when i take away my pants i will find (NOKIA,connecting people) on my underwear.DAMN it,what do they mean by ''connecting people'' in a place like this.marketing is too easy here but hope just stop supporting tennis matches and make it right one time.

Long time no talk guys.....
@mustafabay,
You must be aware of the Vodafone offer on the SE V630i with a 3G package for 1300 L.E., and my question is: is the phone only on sale or not? and for how much? and is it Vodafone branded or can it work on Mobinil as well? Any info is much appreciated.

Is there really a 3g package on vodafone? I thought it was just a yearly line for free. all of 140LE. And I got mobinil's offer wrong BIG TIME. You pay the 1400 for the W880 but the RETURN it to you over 12 months by deducting an amount from your bill. So you more or less get it for free. The only thing is its quite small almost like personal invite, not open to everyone.

And BTW how do the companies charge for mobile TV? Not by the megabyte I hope and how much is a megabyte on 3g anyways nobody's saying.

but for mobile tv,Etisalat offers watching ALJAZEERA channel for 10 LE per minute.YA BALASH .iam not dying if i didn't watch ALJAZEERA.

The specs of the V630i make it a very attractive set if it were to be sold separated from Vodafone's promotion. That's why I'm interested. It's worth digging up.

I didn't know you have to buy the V630 with the offer, can't you just get it at the same price. The thing is a V630 will be locked to vodafone. If you're not on voda you'll have to go for the K610 wich is a little more expensive but better lookin imho and you don't get voda's ugly menus.

What you're saying Mustafabay makes a lot of sense, especially with the lack of flashing options in Egypt. Anyway I thought the matter was worth a shot
