someone asked this before but i can't find the post..

when you plug the K750 USB into your computer does it show up as a new drive? (if yes, what does the phone memory and card look like? folders?)

and can the phone recharge using the USB cable? thanks!

Yesterday, I again visited the Sony Ericsson shop here in Hong Kong and they told me that the K750i would be out either in the middle of this month or at the beginning of May. Still a bit vague!

They also took my mobile number and said they'd give me a call when they knew more. There were about twenty other people on the list, so there is some interest over here.

Some pictures clicked with the k750i. Taken from M-R. Note the quality of the pic taken at night. I still dont believe its taken from a phone.

Yup, they're definitely from the K750.

Another reason i think people look at the K750 and dont think much to the quality is because they're in full size. Once scaled down to fit your computers monitor or resized to fit in a 6"x4" or "7x"5 photograph, they'll look almost indistinguishable from a real digital camera.

I cannot wait to get my hands on the K750 now, just for the 2mp camera !

any good photographer knows that in taking a photo, color quality comes first before sharpness... look at the comparison again and you'll see the difference. i dont know and i hope that i'm just mistaken, but when they were first experimenting on the s700, the environment was first focused on the exploration of the potential of combining megapixel cam and a celfone, while now, they knew that they can do it and chances are they know now what they're doing and i think that might be their final say on the camera quality of the k750.. i hope i'm deeply mistaken coz i definitely want that k750 in my pocket in 2 months or so.. btw, does the k750 use ccd or cmos?

oh and the link on the first page on pix taken from a k750, that's crappy sh#t! use a noiseware standard edition and you'll see from the EXIF that it was registered from a v800.. so try to check on the photo's detail registy to be sure they really were taken from a k750

@gseth, btw, they really were taken from a k750... nice, crisp and clear! coool..
