At the same time the first spy shots of the pretended k850i appeared there was also this pic.
it was announced as p3i. but anyhow, if you compare this picture to the actual backside of the p1i you will see that the similarities are vast!
so i gess that the pictures of the k850i are also quite accurate.
however, i gess that these 4 phones will be announced: K850i, W890i, W910i, M610i and a new Bluetooth watch.

Uiteraard kunnen de toestellen en accessoires daar van dichtbij bekeken worden.

We want to invite you to go to the international presentation from Sony Ericsson in Berlin. There will 5 new phones be announced, among other things from the Walkman and Cybershot series. There will allso be a amount of new accessoires. Of course you can get a closer look to the phones and accessoires

^^ they are trying, but if they havent read "every" post then they may have some crossing information ... which without the proper filter (research/reading) itll pop up like this.
the excitement is palpable at this point, i really want a smoother looking button interface, i hope that they have done some public aesthetic testing, and dont have that green ring around the camera ... what was that?

The P1 isn't the P990's successor.
You can think of the P1 as a new branch of the UIQ touchscreen (a mix between a M600 and P990) family tree.
There have been rumours of a true successor to the M600. It was said to be cancelled and lately the rumour came back from the dead, but nothing more than that.
As for the P990's little brother, you could expect something to be announced in Q4 2007 and to be released in 2008.
