If I understand you correctly I think you are trying to do the impossible. The P990 can be used as a modem linking between a browser and the internet whether the browser be a computer or, say, a Nokia 770. I don't think it can work in the other direction, i.e. where another phone is the modem and the P990 is the browser.

Sorry if it's been asked, I tried the search. Can you set the length of time a calendar entrie stay's in the calendar for? I.E. set all calendar entries to delete themselves after a month after the date they were set for?

@apolloa
If you sync it with your pc (outlook/outlook express) you can. Start your SE pc suite and go under files and use sync manager. Go to calendar and find your options there.

Hello. I've had my P990 for a month now and I was hoping you guys could help me out with 2 things (I'm using firmware R7A)
1. After using the web browser for an hour or so the phone seems to get rather warm, is this normal? I never had this problem with my P910.
2. Has anyone managed to get .m4a music files coded with Media Encoder using the Nero encoder to work? I get a constant clicking sound whenever I try to play these files. They do work on my brother's W800 and on my P910.
Thanks

don't fancy going through all these 400 odd pages but are Vodafone still offering the P990 free on contract?
don't want to be paying any more than £20 a month over 12 months.....Ive had 2 p990s before but fancy another lol
Think this maybe the cheapest option
Or what's the deals like on o2 and orange ...are these handsets externally branded?
Thanks

@J273, I doubt any store or direct would do it free on £20 a month. That was a mess up with the online store. Cheapest I think you'd get it would be free on a £30 a month price plan on an 18month contract. But go try in a store

Depends how desperate that store is

there are so many topics and discussion on this same forum. do a search and you will find out that P990 supports active sync, blackberry services. etc.
u should also consider the pull option in case you have POP3 accounts.
as far as your last remark, again there is another topic. feel free to add your comments there. let's not hijack this one.....
