amazing how this thread went from a happy X10 users sharing and advising topic ,to a bash fest due to an HTC announcement,by the way have they now got their Froyo update yet since that announcement?

Not mentioning 2.1... have anyone got audio books in m4b-format to work on their X10? Where do I put the files, in what folder? They doesn't show up in Mediascape under Audio books.

I want SE to fix the low in-call volume on X10 ASAP, this is the most annoying thing on X10, I can't hear the other party on a road, let alone talking on a busy shopping centre. I demand action from SE asap or at least let us know whether this issue can be fixed via firmware upgrade. If not, will simply switch to other usable phone that can perform a basic function of a phone which is to make call !!!

Try using the speaker feature of the phone.

I am using the speaker while calling most of the time and it's fine so far.

But SE should be able to increase in-call volume via firmware upgrade..........just a matter of whether they will do it.

The moaning will not ever stop until SE keep up their pace. As I have said before, they can't play catch all the time. Honestly, Timescape and Mediascape ain't that all special. Samsung's Touchwiz Media player offers more essential functions such as conversion-free video playback and equalizer. Also, Timescape is still lacking some functions. Most of people who bought X10 are not "feeling" it for Timescape. Maybe, Timescape and Mediascape true potential will be revealed when the Android 2.1 update comes. But again, it will be too late. Many people will have bought some other phones already by then like IPhone 4 (which is selling well), not to mention Samsung Galaxy S.

Well, I have begun feeling good about timescape after the 026 firmware update.... It has begun to feel like a comfortable feature rather than a hassle.

And one more thing I noticed is that in this new firmware creatouch seems to have been updated too with more options available.

The problem with the headphone loudness output would probably be fixable if Sony Ericsson didn't disable 99% of Android's hidden menus. I've seen many people complain about other Android phone's headphone output but fixed by the user by entering one of the hidden menus and altering some settings.

Here's a list.

The only one that works on the X10 is *#*#4636#*#*

Who are all these people that are not 'feeling' it for timescape. I love this part of the phone and it is by far the application I use the most. I agree there are a few things missing in Mediascape, one of these being the loss of album art from time to time. I have never had any issue with the call volume.

Timescape is pretty fantastic on the eye but ohnest truth I never use it.If the XDA Developers ever create a stock Android 2.2 ROM,Im taking it and will do without Timescape/Mediascape.Its not that big of a trainsmash for me.
But will they ever get around to it,thats another story.
We need a Geohot (George Hotz) to sort this thing out.The boys a damn genius.
