Arnoldc/GOwin... yes, I also believe that a phone should be stable enough to function as it was intended. More features=more bugs=more frequent hangs. Although I believe Symbian is the way to go for mobile phone/PDAs. It is very stable, very modular, and very power efficient.
Yes, the Revo used the older Symbian OS, OS5 I think. The new UIQ OS7 on the P800 looks really good! I actually like the interface better than the Palm. If Sony starts making Clie's with OS7 UIQ, I actually might get one... I have nothing against Palm, I actually promote it... but the interface is getting kinda old. I mean, our T68s have a similar looking interface na nga! I expect more from a PDA, than from my phone!
PocketPC has the most 'PC-like' functions for obvious reasons, hardware requirements, MS format, etc... but it's WAY too power hungry. 32MB on a PPC doesn't get you as far as 32MB on a Palm or Symbian system. With the birth of the P800 (fine, and the Nokia 7650), I feel consumers will be more accepting of Symbian due to how they will be introduced to it.
Cool thing about Symbian, it adapts to the hardware, instead of the other way around. The same OS7 looks different on the 7650, than on the P800. Just like the OS5 looks different on the Revo/MX5 than on the Ericsson R380.

racoonice,
the next EB right there in the middle of the NOKIA EXPERIENCE? hahaha! that will be a riot. then we'll be weilding our ericssons there, and criticising everything that nokia has.... poor quality, poor designs, overrated for the price, fast devaluation, para sa mga chims and snatchers only, ugly 3rd party repacement covers, etc.
tweety,
how are you? how's your "knock three times" friend last night? did he/she/it knocked again today? give he/she/it a T68 so he/she/it will shut up. leave the unit out the window, let it be grabbed by....
