im quite hesitant to update it myself using SEUS.heard of a lot of problems with it.i might cause my p990 to go kaput.tail and ares, what is the firmware version on both your p990s?gotta have my p990 updated if that's the case..gotta have to research and ask around what's the most stable firmware.what can you recommend guys?asked yesterday here in the service center near us R9E is already available..is that good?but they too cannot guarantee that the phone will still work after the update.. it's a li'l scary...

Pull the battery, hit the off switch - what difference does it make? Should I be doing this up to four times a day? And this with the latest firmware. Sorry, but I have had enough. It's history!

If you have a Service Center near you, and you are hesitante to use SEUS, ask the Service Center to flash it for you. And what´s that nonsense about warranty??? Do it with SEUS, or do it at Service Center, you will still have warranty for your phone, at least here in Europe

@dougproctor
If you are doing this 4 times a day, then there must be something wrong with it.

ares can you please post a link for SEUS where i can get the latest firmware and im going to update it tomorrow myself. i'd rather choose to take the risk of roasting my phone myself that go to an agreement that someone will roast it up without obligations nor sorries..do i really need to have an internet connection even while in the process of updating?

Just go to SE homepage and download the SEUS and install it. And then just run it
