If there are actually 2 type of coating then glossy might be a better choice to match the front glass.
I have the 2012 matte VAIO Z. I must say, the silver bar + matte coating looks good on laptop.
matte probably doesnt match phones imo.

One sony may feature Glass + Carbon Fiber construction.
And also............ will be VERY expensive

I think same as Z. It's design is anyway same as Z

hmm no glass back...pray for removable battery...nowadays sony flagship very few get removable battery ady..
hope for the xperia tablet z back surface though....

good, now i dont have to worry about cracking the back.
Ramu, this question may be answered already but if its not do you know how many reports regarding the xperia z sent back for repair due to the glass cracking of the z?
