I can't watch the current cricket match any more...it's almost too bad to be true at the moment.
@ da brixsta,
Yeah I thought I'd give the long-serving P900 avatar a break; for a while anyway. Never been overly mad on red, but on the K610's lines it just 'works' for me.
I doubt that I would buy a K610i though...
I'm not gonna get the P990i straight away either, for obvious reasons. I'll see what specials the networks run straight after Christmas...
I've sold the SPV; not a bad phone at all but the Windows 5.0 OS and interface on the phone was often slow, tedious and far less intuitive than the usual SE and Nokia offerings. It does have a very good range of features to truly personalise the phone, but since I use only a few of these options, this was not enough of a saving grace to keep the handset.
Got a cheap, brand spanking new T630 off eBay in that awesome 'frosty silver' (LOL) colour. That chiselled icey look of the handset in that colour is one of the all-time classics IMHO. Only want it for the Orange network's 'freebies', so wasn't too fussed about somewhat dated specs.
@ francois,
As I'm sure you know, the 30 credits is fortunately a daily allowance, so you can can obviously make the most of zedge tomorrow again.

@francois: I can't agree with you more, if people i MXit really had lives they would be out there partying up a storm. After using it for like a day, last year, I got bored at all the kids who constantly bombarded me with "asl plz?"
@Menageryl: Sorry to hear about your loss...I can't imagine losing my phone...that's why it's important to back everything up.
@da wanqsta: Don't get too upset about the cricket. We're coming off a lay-off and the guys are still getting used to the feeling of bat-on-ball. And what's up with only having two test matches in a series? They should at least have had three but I suspect the Sri Lankans wanted to make some extra cash by including more ODI's into the intenerary.

@ da brixsta,
I can swallow that to a large extent, but hopefully they'd get used to getting ball-on-wicket too, and very, very soon...the 2 Sri Lankan batsmen currently in look like they're going to be smashing a few third wicket partnership records sooner rather than later...this partnership alone is at 352 runs at the moment...

352 runs!!! Didnt realise our bowling performance had been that woeful. I'm not watching the game. The wicket seems very flat if batsmen are scoring those sort of runs without being bothered.

Well now, how often does one see 2 batsmen, each with over 200 runs, batting at the same time in a test match?
The Sri Lankans pile on the misery...485 for 2 at the close of day 2's play.
It's become so desperate that even Jacques Rudolph and Ashwell Prince have been given a bowling spell...

brix:: DUDE! I DID backup!!! Trust me - as an IT professional that has a pretty serious background / history in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, I'm actually pretty darn paranoid about backups!!!
' Problem is this: Several months back someone broke into my house and stole my desktop / tower PC. Due to a number of circumstances I've not yet been able to replace it.
' No problem though. Have laptop! Due to having this nice (brand-spanking-new) laptop it was also a far lower priority to replace said desktop.
' Okay. So. Backup entire phone to laptop.
' And then both my cellphone AND laptop were stolen in the same evening at the same event - despite them being kept physically apart / seperate from one-another!!!
' Well, I tell ya, I've learned my lesson now that's fer sure - from this day forward I plan on using ONLINE SERVICES to place my handset / phone backup data on - that way no matter WHAT piece of equipment is stolen, where, or WHATEVER, I'll have my data that I can get to and eventually restore to whatever replacement handset I get!!!!
' The huge issue in my lofe at the moment is this: ALL my private internet connections / work / instant-messaging / email / etc. was done either via the phone itself, directly; or via the laptop using my phone as modem.
' That leaves me COMPLETELY disconnected and isolated from the Net barring when I happen to be at work - and there's so much to do here that it essentially negates that opportunity / facility anyways.
' I feel like I wanna cry!
' DAMN insurance! And DAMN them dragging their feet! They'd better get back to me and PRONTO or I'm liable to do something foolish!
' Laters mates!

@Menageryl: Damn, not even I could deal with a setback like that...I mean, how are they going to steal your P900 and your laptop in one evening...I'd need some Prozacs if it happened to me. Good luck trying to get anything out of your insurance company.
