haibo, Sambuca is lekker, no diggitey, i do enjoy the occasional glass. On occasion only, mind you... My all-time favourite is the "water of life". Drink with ice or plain ol' tapwater, you can't go wrong
i'm at my usual Friday night haunt, Friend's Coffee Shop in Summerstrand. If you guys are ever in this neck of the woods, you've gotta taste their coffee, it's brilliant. And cheap too! You can have two mega-mugs of coffee here for under R15.00!
On a more serious note, @ Menageryl, eish man, i'm sorry to hear of your misfortune. How did you come to lose both items on the same evening?

Just got back from my favourite hangout in Green Point. Downed a couple of Amstels, needed that after a stressful Friday. Don't know how I managed to post on Esato after the day that I had.

Yeah, there are days that I have which are particularly busy and stressful, and it's a bit of a weird artform finding ways and time to post on esato inbetween the plethora of activities and challenges around one.
Finally saw Jarhead on DVD and I'm as happy as a pig in mud with regard to the experience and quality of the surround sound setup in the lounge.
Tonight we're watching Munich, which I'm particularly looking forward to...hopefully this film's more historically accurate than others based on events in history, like Braveheart...
@ Kryptik,
There used to be a coffee shop in Vincent in EL by the same name.
I think it then changed ownership and became San Francisco or something to that effect.

Munich is a good movie. hard to sit through, but a lovely piece of work, as harsh as it might be. read up about it a bit, the surface history. think it was a little different in some aspects. would love to hear your thoughts on it though.

@francois: Honestly, I don't know how ur going to squeeze that mp3 on there. I've got the 64MB miniSD that came with the phone and I've not made any attempt to put music on it.
@da wanqsta: Munich is absolutely brilliant, not all is based on fact.

I gave up on the mp3 transfer thing. seems like you first have to get it on the phones memory before it goes to the memory card. and 4 megs of space is way less than you need. silly nokia! but my nokia phones that i had served me well. all these little things that bug me will get sorted out in the next couple of years. typical pc freak: everything has to work together like i want it!lol!

@Francois, she ought to have loads more free memory than 4mb... You could maybe advise her to use a file manager/explorer app to do some cleaning up. It's likely that she has a wealth of pix and tones saved on the c-drive, which would explain the lack of space. Technically there ought to be at least 8mb of free space on the c-drive, should she be managing the phone correctly.

Speaking of memory, I'm looking for a place that sells relatively inexpensive reduced MMC for Nokia...looking at getting something like 512MB. My current 64MB ain't going to cut it for much longer.
Virgin Mobile has hardly been operating for one month and they've already upset the Mother Grundies over their first tv ad but thankfully authorities in South Africa have a sense of humour and
dismissed the complaint of blasphemy.
Off topic, on Wednesday I got home and couldn't help looking at the sexiest curves I've seen in a long time. My neighbourhood is known for it's streetwalkers and pimps...this baby attracted everyone just by her looks. I recognised my Kodak moment and whipped out my cellphone and started snapping away.
This Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder just happens to be owned by a man who owns the largest chain of adult stores in South Africa.
