just so everyone is aware,
o2 appear to be mucking a lot of people about. ive rang on 5 different occasions and it was only on the 3rd time that a record of my wish to upgrade was present. since then there has been no delivery notice email (was promised one the same day as each call....) and each time i have been told its ordered.
I think o2 are out of stock, and screwed by the pre-orders.

I have phones Orange and CPW who both say the K800I on Orange is not released yet. I phoned E2Save and they confirmed the K800I on Orange they are selling at the moment IS a branded Orange handset. How can this be?
Can't answer whether it has been released on Orange or not. But I am in the same boat.
Not seen anyone else selling the K800i for Orange so went with e2save as well. Was hoping this ment it would be unbranded/unlocked like my K700i was from them (actually that was T-Mobile thinking about it).
Unfortunately there is a delay with my order of a week due to shortages. Will have to wait and see.

Hi All - Just got my K800 today, and I'm very pleased with it..
Just one little gripe though - The manual.., mine looks as if it has just been "photocopied and stapled together" , it is very poor for a £350+ phone..
just wondered if mine was a rushed out temporary copy or if everyone else has the same black and white photocopied manual ??
The phone was bought from expansys in the uk, so it wasn't from any dodgy dealers etc...
Thanks,
Ian
Expansys buy abroad and quite the french versions - then photocopy an english manual. You're lucky you didn't get a voda that they called "unlocked Sim free" like I did my T610 years ago.
I played merry hell as you can imagine.

ref CPW/E2Save and the Orange K8:
CPW owns E2Save and the stock, I am sure (although I don't know for a fact) is sourced from the same place.
I would suspect, therefore, that both will have stock at the same time. It looks as though the K8 sold by CPW (and E2Save) will be the orange-branded version.
However, no stock has arrived as yet and I doubt E2Save will have before the Carphone stores.

Yeah, that's what I thought. But Orange themselves said it's still being tested, but someone did mention to ring back at the end of the week. I may get it on an Orange upgrade but will have to see.

I've still not heard anything off o2! I'm phoning them now and demanding they send me a new phone today or else. I don't think I've ever been so angry.
