gps later in the year, sofia will have 5mp, prob something to wait for, ok well at least it will last longer than n95, 16 million colour screens dont make a difference its a marketing ploy, SE are now - M2 from now on. If your really concerned go to Nokia and keep your complaints out of here! P700 looks to be a hit, nice work!

Its a bit pathetic all that n95 is so better crap, when the p700 has more than 2 times plus ram, and it just has to share k800 or k810 camera to have at least same image quality of n95. Add symbian 9.5, less weight and bulkiness, and i really cant see why the n95 is better

To the people drooling on p700 menus, i must remember older uiq3 phones will have a symbian os upgrade at the same time of the p700 launch, possibly all will share the same kind of menus

I know this has been asked already, but I have yet to see an answer: Does this device support HSDPA or even HSUPA?
IMO much as I love the look and the rest of the specs, without at least 3.6Mpbs HSDPA support this device is a non starter for me.

I'm just keen to see the screenshots of the music player and the radio to see whether there are improvements there too. One thing thats missing is the play/pause button of the p990.

As both an P990i, N95 and former M600i owner I feel I am prety qualified to comment here.
Much as I am a bit of an SE fan at heart - and I love my UIQ devices - the N95 IMO whilst in general catering for a slightly different target segment to devices like the P700i excels in a number of areas where the existing and this M700i appear to be lacking - namely HSDPA support, UPNP/Media sharing, built in GPS, a beautiful 16M colour screen, a stable OS and GUI, and despite what some people seem to be claiming - battery life which is actually suprisingly good (and better than the P990i) for such a small feature packed device.
Even the Nokia PC Suite is light years ahead of SE's rather embarassing effort and not only works fully on Vista x64, but manages to sync many times quicker too.
Don't get me wrong - there are a number of weak points too, but it is difficult to simply dismiss the N95 because as a complete package it is really very compelling.

Yes, it will be very interestiong if it is quadband GSM + triband HSDPA, but PK and Doctorpor only had a prototype which may be slighty different to the final porduct, so we have to wait until it's oficially announced to find out ALL these specs

Pd: Thanks PK and Doctorpor for all your efforts

Sl33pyhead, i am not saying the n95 is a bad phone, its just not an alternative for people that use qwerty/touchscreen alot, and the p700 will have a serious hardware advantage (at least) by having much more RAM...

Does it leak memory?

Even though it would surely take a month to make it enough for you to notice!!!

Definately gonna work on swindling one out of work when they are released (new BB Pearls are being rolled out and i've said i'll stick with my M600)!!!

The RAM is a vast improvement from past models and a product like this needs it, weekend i'll do more tests and try tom tom as well if i get time.

Video recording is also on the agenda and watching more films too

If anyone wants more pictures of different angles, let me know.

Cheers
