I have been using LAuncher Pro Happily more than a year(since X10) but it has got quite disturbingly slow after last update. It hangs so long that application unresponsive screen appears.

I have gone back to using original SE home page which is incredibly faster than Launcher pro.
It can manage more widgets as well

Strange.

Wow this thread has gone very quiet. Has everyone abandoned their Xray's ?????
Am thinking of doing a complete reflash on mine as it's running very slow. Hardly have anything installed on it atm as well.

i just got mine
it has the latest update
2.3.4

the camera menu is much less than what i saw
in the reviews

i have only
1- capturing mode, 3D and sweep panorama added
2- resolution
3- switch camera
4- self timer
5- photo light
6- Geotagging
7- shutter sound

what happened to the rest of the options? why everything else was removed?

Just the standard SE one. On animated wallpaper etc. The phone is becoming slow and unresponsive at times. Cleared cache etc and moved most of the apps over to sd that I was able to. There's hardly anything running on the phone atm. Screen has started to not register at times or it responds to the selection above what I'm selecting

That's a shame I don't have any trouble with the Play compare to what I had with the Ray

In general, in forums like this, people mostly complain when their handset is not functioning very well. People who don't have any problems with their handsets just sit quietly. There is not much to complain about that hasn't already been said about the Ray.

@Rookwise
Try moving frequently used apps back to Phone from SD card.

And Antivirus apps kill the joy on mobile phones

I've moved everything apart from pictures and videos back over to the phones memory and it has actually made a small improvement.
Still lag on the touchscreen itself though.

Haven't got and anti virus installed on mine. Also deleted the McAfee app off as well.
