10iv = cpu that cannot record 4K, same shitty 12/8/8 combo (exmor/isocell/omni), USB was downgraded from 3.1 to 2.0.
1iv = still 1/1.7", no LTPO, no native 10bit , no 1/1.28" 48MP bayer. Basically same screen but sony stop restricting brighhtness, no charger . Periscope has smaller camera now. Crap 1/3.5" that is smaller than the one used by mark 1 and 2.
👋🏻👋🏻, I am done with esato and weibo. Tired of reading lies for months. I'd rather know nothing than reading false specs again, again and again.

For the first time in a long time they fixed the time frame between the announcement and the release. But imo iv is the most boring 1 of them all.
Yes the zoom is kinda impressive but even the footage they showed was blurry. The sensor is smaller and no mid zoom lens.
The uw is the same, no mention of macro capability, not wider etc.
10 iv is the bigger letdown. More money for almost a downgrade in cpu and still 60hz display with same horrible cameras. Despite minimal change it's still not available instantly.

The 10 iv was also underwhelming, considering that they, Sony has the Image sensor fab, I am really disappointed that Xperia can't seem to get extra priveleges on image sensor..

They do not want to. Remember when midranges have same hardware used by flagships? At this point should have mored to at least 1/1.4" while giving this 1/1.67" to 10 series. Same way XA series got imx400. All this to increase margins per unit.

According to gsmarena, I IV uses IMX650 on the telephoto lens, do you think Sony is cropping again here or uses pixel binning on top of optical zoom?

The telephoto quality looks phenomenal especially on vidoes.
I think, Sony is really keeping something from it. I really believe they're pixel binning.
