@semicon- got my t39 upgraded to r4a... after the upgrade the has this txt size difference... resets when in gprs in periods of times or downloading... it seems that it given me more problem than the past fw... my nearest semicon center is cagayan de oro... can i have my unit there replaced or repaired without delay... thanks in advance

I understand naman what you're trying to say. Basically, I'm not really judging Sharon pero I was quite unsatisfied by the service she provided when she was giving me the "risks" if I have my phone upgraded to the latest version. She told me na Semicon will not be responsible if my phone won't have any power after the software upgrade or hangs while it's being upgraded. She then said na it's because it's a non-warranty phone and Semicon will only be responsible if it's a warranty phone. I asker her why. She said that if it's a phone bought through an authorized dealer, which has a warranty, they'll replace the phone but if it's not bought through an authorized seller, they can't replace it. She even added that because if it's bought through an authorized seller, it has network capability daw (whatever that means). I asked her kung iba ba yung SonyEricsson T68i ko if I didn't buy it through an authorized seller. Her reply was it's different because it doesn't have a network authorization and capability. I even told her that I called SonyEricsson Philippines and they told me that there are no risks (hanging/no power)involved if I want to upgrade the software. She told me na hindi daw totoo yung sinasabi ng SonyEricsson. She said na kung yun ang gusto kong paniwalaan, e di yun yung paniwalaan ko. I asked her na if she meant that if I want my phone to get better by upgrading the software, does it mean that I am indeed risking my phone? She said YES. She also said that I should copy all my phone book memory to my sim kasi it will be deleted daw. I told her na never mind since I have my phone book memory naman synchronized already with my PDA. I told her na to upgrade my phone na lang because she wasn't making any sense. At that point, talking to her was senseless. Para nyang sinabi na if I have my car fixed, and all of a sudden madisgrasya yung kotse ko while it is being fixed, na hindi liable yung mekaniko? Parang ang labo ata nun. She told me na I would have to wait 3 hours kasi ganun daw katagal yung flash upgrade na gagawin. I asked her if it can be any faster, she said no. I came back 1 1/2 hour later and my phone was ready. After I checked my phone, I noticed that my phone book was still intact. I asked her baket ganun. She said that I copied daw kasi my phone book memory to my sim. I said I didn't nga. Pretty woman came to the rescue (Thank God!). She said na with the software upgrade, it doesn't delete any phone book memory daw. For me, Sharon has poor market knowledge.
Being true to my word, the service that everyone else provided, from the people on the reception area to the sales people, was very excellent. Sana ganun na yung buong staff ng Semicon Power Plant next time.

First of all this is NOT a chatroom and I do not have any problems about that.
NO ONE in this forum is OBLIGED to answer anyone else's queries, anyone can decide to help or to ignore any post. If the semicon people have been able to help you out in your queries, then that's well and good - the thread has served it's purpose. As I am not an employee of Semicon (or by ESATO) I am not in the best position to answer your queries about semicon.
This thread is not even an official support channel for semicon. If semicon employees wish to start a thread where they can post what they've started posting in this thread, they are most welcome to do so - but I prefer to see less of those in THIS thread.
