yeah, doesn't seem to be many active Aussies

I've only been the once to Bathurst and it was manic... but great fun.
Flown over the circuit endless times on my trips out of Bankstown to "wherever" out west

Think I prefer the F1 though

Oh yeah I prefer F1 too, but the V8s are a welcome sidetrack. I think I was at Bathurst about a week or two after the event which was disappointing but it was nice to see the museum and so on.

I think it was more of a publicity stunt than anything,
popularity towards the labor party was at an all time low and they seem to believe it was because of K Rudd, and with elections just around the corner it will almost ensure that they get the votes they need to keep their cushy, high paid jobs for another 4 years.
It's just unfortunate for Kevin Rudd to go out in the way he did. I mean, The man saved the country from a worldwide recession, signed the kyoto agreement, apologised for the stolen generation......AND went on Rove live, which was something old Johnny Howard never did.

Oh yeah and F**K Ireland tonight in the rugby.

Rudd did a good job, but he lost momentum. Gillard will do a good job "moving forward" (campaign slogan lol)

Tony Abbot is just woeful. Embarassing actually.

For all you rugby loving Aussie fans, sorry about your big loss to the English (yes you did kick our butts in the Tri-Nations)
Good luck for your upcoming match against your next Northern hemisphere rivals.
We face Scotland.Should be a relatively easy win.If you got France coming up the chances are you might see another loss on this tour.
We got England in two weeks and thats the big one for the Springboks and the way they dealt with you guys Im kinda worried about that encounter.
But hey,its North vs South so for the time been we are rugby brothers lol

honestly, if you're gonna bump an Aussie topic you can't say "bump"... you gotta say...

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie

after which will come the obligatory...

Oi, Oi, Oi!

Here's a heads-up. I'll be in Melbourne for the GP at end of March and I hope to plan a meetup for a drinky or two, either down St Kilda way or up Lygon Street... so watch this space!

The Esato Market section has influenced the entire forum. That's the reason.
