HELP!!!
i am having p990i with latest firmware(R9EC001).I have recently bought a 4GB memory card but when i put it inside my phone and connect it to computer, the computer is not able to detect it.But my 64MB card works fine. Please tell me how to solve this problem.
Have you tried to format the memory card using your phone?
As a rule should you always format the card when you first get it?
I have never done this and have never encountered any problems.

Does the P990 allow you to choose if you want to be connected to gsm or 3g?

Did you buy your memory card from a reputable source? There are a lot of fake memory cards around, which cause problems like this.

is it possible to "hide" the sms msgs stored in the sim card from the unified inbox.
I want to hide them because they are stamped with the date and time of the last upgrade of the phone firmware, whish is wrong

still waiting for a podcast "catcher" programme for the p990. Something like the AudioBay Podcast Player that would work on UIQ 3. Since the WIFI on the phone now works really well after R5 upgrade, it would be great to have a programme that could download podcasts. (I know this can be done in the browser but I'm looking for an itunes like programme that can be set up to download podcast automatically)
