As far as i'm aware these problems you have are not issues with R1BC or R1CA firmware, have you tried a master reset of the phone ? if you do this make sure you backup any personal stuff off the phone as it will wipe it clean !

i read this on some other forum .. your problem could be because the network of your phone needs to approve stability of the phone with the network hence u will have t wait and will update a bit later...

I updated my branded orange uk w800i to R1AA008 ages ago and still have no available updates. This update seemed pointless as i havn't really noticed anything good about it, is there a way to downgrade safely? The main thing i want to fix is the delay when taking photos.(although my phone does seem slower with a 1gb mem stick)
Is orange the furthest behind in firmware updates? because from what i've read, everyone seems to be updating to new firmware.

i like it like that

blue triangle? are you referring to the GPRS coverage indicator? I dont think they'd take that out. there must have been interference in your coverage that's why you dont see it, but i doubt they'd ever take that out. in the W810 onwards, that was been replaced by a 'G' icon for GPRS and an 'E' if an EDGE network is detected

no, i'm talking about the triangle who is up the network bars,
(the net bars are trangle)+ (the blue trangle) = all make a rectangular
look, i have now two k750i in my hand, one with r1bc, and the other with r1ca, and the two have the same theme
in the r1ca one, there is no blue triange, i see onely the barrs, but with the r1bc, it exist.
again, i like it like that
